Love is like a fragile rose
With nurturing, it blooms and grows
Treat it with respect and care-
You will surely find it there.
Shower it with words of praise.
Warm it with soft loving rays.
Water it with tenderness.
Gently prune it with finesse.
Shade it from the wind and rain
Shelter it from grief and pain.
Plant around it ferns of beauty.
Honor it with upheld duty.
Lift love's fragrance to your nose.
Savor, cherish, KEEP love's rose.
